Boldcurrentworks began as two freelancers sharing a client and a deadline, working out of a small studio just outside Milano. The first project was a restaurant website that took three times longer than quoted, because we kept noticing things worth fixing that nobody had asked us to fix.
That habit never went away. We still treat every brief as a starting point rather than a checklist, and we'd rather have an honest conversation about scope than deliver something we know isn't right.
Our approach is deliberately unglamorous: fewer meetings, clearer documents, and work that's reviewed by the same two or three people from kickoff to launch. Milano taught us that good craft doesn't need to shout about itself.
Today the studio works with founders, local retailers and a handful of teams abroad who found us through word of mouth rather than advertising — which is roughly how we'd like to keep growing.
